And while it’s fun thinking about what your business cards will look like and what font you’ll use on your website, have you really
thought about what else you’ll need to pay for?

In this online workshop, Access to Finance Advisor Judy Hendricks will look into the nitty gritty things that you will need to consider when working out how much will starting a business will really cost you – from what corporate structure you choose, getting legal and accounting advice and working out what sales you need make to break even … we run through the things that require essential planning to make your new business a viable one that will be around for the long term.

About Your Presenter: Judy Hendricks

In her 21 years of business banking and retail banking experience, Judy has managed relationship portfolios with tens of thousands of customers across a range of industries such as import and export, wholesale and retail, aged care and health care, professional services, tourism, transportation, manufacture, pharmaceuticals, property construction, development and investment.

Judy has dealt and provided advice on a range of financial products and services including cash flow solutions, international trade, transactional services, assets finance,
financial planning, interest rate hedging, foreign exchange, protection insurance, E-commerce, investment funding and IT solutions and more.

With the support of her strong finance background, Judy successfully co-founded her cross-cultural training business that provides cross-cultural executive training, consulting and tailored business solutions. She passionately supports and facilitates Australian SMEs and entrepreneurs to go global.

Judy has the real-life experience of running a business by driving revenue growth and managing costs. She understands how to best use resources and time for business development. She can prioritise the most compelling opportunities and uses various business finance types available to boost business growth.

Judy is a graduate and current member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and was awarded “Outstanding Contribution to the City of Willoughby” by the Mayor of Willoughby City Council, Gail Giles-Gidney. Judy has been invited to be the judge for several Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitions held in Australia and overseas.
