Marketing experts wanted to work with Georges River Council
Seeking Local Supplier/partner
Georges River Council is looking to work with a local marketing agency to help create and articulate council's USP that will feed into Council's Marketing Plan.
Georges River is a region that is relatively new as it is an amalgamation of Hurstville and Kogarah Council’s in 2016. As an LGA, Georges River has the potential to be an economic driving force in the NSW economy, offering a city of innovation and progression. With its proximity and easy access to the Sydney CBD, Sydney Airport and Port Botany, and two vibrant centres – the bustling and energetic Hurstville and the thriving Health, Education and Innovation Hub at Kogarah, the Georges River area is a great place to live, visit, invest and grow.
Serviced by 11 railway stations across two rail lines, and with convenient road access to the rest of Sydney, the Georges River area can claim to be the most accessible location in Greater Sydney. This area has the potential to attract and accommodate the additional workforce required to support new investment and business growth and is a gateway to southern Sydney and beyond to The Illawarra and Wollongong (home to over 500,000 people). It also serves as a gateway to the world, being less than 9 minutes from Sydney airport.
Council wants to showcase the region's accessibility for economic opportunity, recreational and cultural attraction as well as the regions livability through a well structured.
To discuss this opportunity further please contact Council's City Marketing & Strategic Partnerships Officer Tania Katsanis on 9330 6225 or via email at Tkatsanis@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au before 9 April 2021.
