About the presenter – Born in the UK, Tim Marshall obtained a first-class honours degree in molecular biology from Sydney University, then went on to Sydney Law School, graduating at law, before commencing work with leading Sydney-based patent and trade-mark firm, Spruson & Ferguson, then, Freehills Patent and Trade-Mark Attorneys. He moved back to London in 1999, where he worked in Intellectual Property for legal giants such as Clifford Chance, and Herbert Smith, acting on many large ticket deals including the sale of the FOSTERS beer brand to a large English Brewer.
In 2011, Tim moved back to Australia and the Illawarra with his family and set up Marshall Legal which offers a full range of intellectual property services – identification and creation of IP rights, exploitation of IP rights, enforcement and defence of IP rights and “freedom to operate” and pre-application IP rights searches.
