Closing down your business – what you need to know
It is not merely a matter of removing stock, selling off equipment or finishing the lease. There are also many legal and financial obligations to be considered. Depending on your business structure, they could be simple or complex. In this session we will help you look at ways to close your business effectively or better still, prepare it for sale
You will learn:

• When is the right time to close your business?
• What financial obligations you have to your staff.
At the completion of the session you will leave with:
• A roadmap to guide you through the closing process of your business in NSW
• Other possibilities aside from closing
• A checklist to assist you if you do decide closing is your best option
This online workshop is designed for business owners considering whether to sell or close their business. The workshop is limited to 20 attendees and is available to business owners throughout NSW who are registered customers of the Business Connect program.
The session will be recorded and the recording and associated documentation will be made available to those who attend this session. If you are registered, but unable to attend for any reason, please cancel your event registration and reschedule for a day you are able to attend.
